I have a long time passion for anime and to have that engulf my life.is heaven on earth. I'd rather take my knowledge in computer science toward my hobbies and passion than someone else's company.

RAGE COMICS ANIME FULL

I've been since 2007 since I added a legit anime store to my anime fan site I made in 2002 and I plan on quitting my stupid day job to be in anime full time.why?.why the hell not? To me, being stuck in an office from 9-5 being told what to do by people who are dumber than you, being told when and where you have to be like some child on a curfew is nothing short of slavery. I still have at least 2 classes of me solidifying voices before my demo is set to be recorded.I've been doing practice voices in my car on my way to my dead-end camera store web-job I do in addition to my anime figure business.people probably look at me like I'm insane on my 70 mile a work day drive. Anybody can do a fly-by-night fan dub on youtube with a <$100 mic and suddenly claim, "I'm a voice actor" but they are not (with the exception of say Team Four Star and LittleKuribou). I can bet 100,000,000 yen that most of the people who hate dubbing would sound like fools if brought up to the mic in a real studio and be humbled by the skilled craft it really is. Voice acting when done right is an art, a craft and is something that is no where near as easy as it looks. The English dubbing done in that anime was superb and I'm grateful that in a previous class with Bang! Zoom! Studios, I was able to do some mock dubs of TTGL scenes in this studio here in NYC. The "Who the hell do you think I am" in your user name shows that you are a fan, like I am of Gurren Lagann.

To mock dubbing is to mock Japanese voice actors too because they dub the animation as well. Remember, anime is done in the ADR process.anime characters are speaking with "flaps".in other words, the animation is done first and the dubbing is done later. Serious acting and that passion for the characters that Japanese seiyū have, has been done by studios in recent years. For a long time the art and passion behind anime was not taken seriously when ported and "lost in translation" Since the end of the 1990's, that paradigm has changed.

For a long while (and somewhat still) anime is seen by American media as "cartoons." As we know, calling anime "cartoons" is like calling a painting by Leonardo DaVinchi, "a colored picture". Trust me, I've seen/heard some horrible dubs. I'm 27 years old and have been watching anime since the mid 80's. Sigh.I too used to hate dubs, but that has changed.
